I've been getting all sorts of questions since the first time I posted a picture of this hair. "Girl, what hair is that!!" "where did you get that hair?" etc. Most people without prior knowledge of me actually thought its my hair and one of my co workers would say "lol Girl you paid for it, so it's your hair." All those questions were asked but I had no answers. Not because I was keeping the knowledge to myself, but because I had no idea where it's from.
At this point, you are probably rolling your eyes and thinking "wt? so how did the hair end up on your head?" Well, over the summer one of my friends approached me saying he loves natural hair so much on women that he want to make it available to ladies at a more affordable rate than most natural hair companies. The thought of a man selling hair chuckled me immediately. In my mind, I had a million questions to ask him. Then he said "I want you to be involved and I want you to try the hair it out to see if you like it." I was astonished. "yay, Free hair! Wait! What if I don't like it," I thought. Gathering some courage, "Okay, I'll do it," I said.
I got the hair (a wig) few days later, tried it on, at first I thought it was too big. Then, I shaped it to fit my face and I fell in love with it. However, I wasn't sure how long it would last so I shied away from recommending it or giving any information about it until I was sure that people will get their money's worth. Wore this hair consistently for the whole summer (lol the longest I've ever kept a hairstyle). A lot of people thought it was my hair and I had strangers touching my hair for no reason especially when I visited New Orleans' infamous Bourbon street over the summer.
Anyways it only made sense to agree to my friend's request and collaborate with him, he called the company curl roots and now the hair and more details is available on my shop for anyone interested. The hair is perfect as a fall/winter protective hair style.
I'm wearing color pop's limbo on my lip.
Hope you all enjoy this, let me know what you thing. Have a beautiful weekend!
